Wendy and Russ are excited and happy about a big change in their lives. Russ has been driving truck all their married life so far…and now he’s going to get off the truck and be a real cowboy on his own ranch, a lifelong dream…of Wendy’s anyway! They’ll be moving to Lewistown from Fairfield…a move they, at first, were quite apprehensive about, but the more they get settled on the ranch, the more excited and anxious they are to get completely moved. Russ already has cattle on the ranch and is working hard, repairing fences, putting up hay for the winter, building a loading dock, etc. They see elk, deer, raccoons, all kind of wild life all the time, and love the beautiful view from the home they’ll be living in…which will be Wendy’s project that she’s so good at, fixing up, remodeling, restoring, chopping weeds, landscaping etc. We wish them all well in this new venture and know it will be a good move for them.
Luke is still in California (where he served his mission.) He is working and going to school there, studying and preparing to go into the medical field. (Good luck, Luke!) Panda married Nate Tingey and they have a baby doll: Noa, who is the joy of their lives. Nate is working, currently, in Kansas, so that’s where they’re living at the moment. Don’t know for how long. They bought a house in Bountiful they will be moving back to when this job is completed, but this will be a great experience for them.
Colter has been going to school in California, then here in Arizona… and this summer he is in Montana working hard with Russ on the ranch. Jaxon is on a mission to Tulsa, Oklahoma and is currently an Assistant to the President. He writes good things of the mission, the work, his excitement about his mission, and his love of the people. Sounds like he loves it! Kenzie will be going to Lewistown High School, a challenge and change, but she has cousins there which will make it easier, and she has already gotten into volleyball there, one of her sport loves. She is very good in track and basketball too. She plays the guitar and sings beautifully… and is modeling for a “modest clothing” catalogue in Provo this summer. Weston will be making a change of schools, also, and will be a blessing to the Lewistown school with his many sports talents and abilities, and we know he is a blessing to Russ with his hard work on the ranch! And Maggie, their dog, will be moving with them. She got lost up on the ranch for three days, but blessedly was found and returned to the family, of which she’s a big part.
