Eddie is still managing the two Church Farms in Queen Creek and Coolidge, not just managing but physically doing most of the tractor and irrigating work himself, with Ole’s very capable help. He is very busy, also serving as Bishop of his huge Ironwood Ward, and doing an excellent job. He and Ole have worked especially hard, in what little spare time they have, adding a lot of cement porch, flower beds, water lines etc. to their landscaping. And with the help of Grandpa Blau, they enclosed their garage and made a WONDERFUL play room and storage behind cupboard doors. Brenda is also very busy, serving as the Young Women’s President of the Queen Creek East Stake. She just this month returned from the huge, very successful Girl’s Camp she has been in charge of and working months preparing for. She has recently been invited to play the organ at the Temple…a great honor! Congratulations, Brenda. She has taught music in the Queen Creek Schools for years and done an outstanding job, which has brought her many accolades and much praise she rightfully deserves!
Melissa is a beautician at Cindy’s County Cuts here in Queen Creek, keeping everyone looking good, both men, women, boys and girls! Malinda is serving a Mission for the LDS Church in San Fernando Valley, CA. She’s loving it and doing a terrific job. It is so good to receive her happy upbeat letters! Melanie will finish her second year of college and receive her Associate’s Degree from Chandler-Gilbert Community College in December, and is planning to serve a Mission after that. Ole graduated from QC High School in May, after excelling in sports, particularly football and softball. He is currently working with Eddie on the Church Farms, earning money for his Mission when he turns 19 in November. He and Melanie are currently going to a Missionary Prep class every week. Ole recently earned and received his Eagle Scout Award. Megan will be a Junior at QC High School this year, and undoubtedly will be in many plays. She’s a great performer! She recently received her Young Woman’s Recognition Award. Dallin will be going to QC Middle School this year and is excited about that. He’s growing up… turned 12 this year and is now a Deacon passing sacrament.
