Adrienne and Wayne have moved from Logan, Utah, and live in Queen Creek now in a beautiful house they built. We’re so happy to have them here close to us. Wayne has a construction business that keeps him very busy, along with his Church and yard work, etc. etc. He just this summer found time to add grass and trees to his landscaping. It was mighty hard work but it is beautiful. He had been in the Stake Young Men’s presidency, but is currently Scout Master in his Ward. (I think… hard to keep track of everyone. Wards and callings are changing so fast what with the unbelievable growth in Queen Creek!) Adrienne taught music at QC Elementary schools for a few years, did a great job and was much loved by all the children, but is now happy at home keeping busy with her house, yard, family and her Church work. She is currently the Ward Young Women’s President and was very much looking forward to Girl’s Camp this summer, but she suddenly had violent pain in her neck and back and was diagnosed with a herniated disk and had to be in bed a few weeks and missed Camp, much to her disappointment. We hope and pray she will recover and be “good as new” and free from pain very soon!
Emilee married Adam Beck of Logan, Utah. She graduated from Utah State University in Logan, and taught a couple of years there. Adam also received his BA and MA there and has just accepted a good job in Salt Lake City and they will soon be moving and working there…much to the disappointment of HER parents who had hoped that maybe he would find a super good offer down here in Arizona that they couldn’t refuse! They have a baby, Baylee, who is a doll and the joy of their lives, and who her maternal grandparents hoped, also, would be a lot closer to them! She’s the love of their life also.
Cameron is serving a mission in Nashville, Tennessee (the same Mission his dad served in). He is an accomplished piano player and has used that talent a lot on his mission. He is a diligent, hard working, obedient Elder who follows every rule with exactness. He is currently a District Leader, with its accompanying joys and sometimes sorrows. Kiara will be attending her second year at Eastern Arizona Junior College in Thatcher. She is currently a Cashier at Albertsons this summer in Queen Creek. Jared will be a Junior at Queen Creek High School and continue playing every sport he can work into his life: football, basketball, track, tennis, soccer…whatever is out there. He tries, and is good at, every sport. Amberlee will be a third grader in Queen Creek. She loves to read and she takes piano lessons and is very good at that, as Emilee and Cameron both were and are.
